What People Are Saying
“Before joining Sylvia’s HappyCore tribe, I was experiencing knee pain and considering knee replacement. Since joining, my knee issues have nearly disappeared! I continue hiking, skiing, and climbing stairs virtually pain-free. Her Tu/Th Pilates classes are joyful, fun, and seriously helpful… with easy daily challenge goals between class times. Sylvia relates to her clients at all levels, and always provides options for the exercises to suit any ability level or injury that may need care. I love her whole body/whole life focus. The live Zoom format saves me time. And she provides recordings of each class (available for a limited time), which enable me to do the sessions even if I need to miss the live class – a great feature! She’s given me the inspiration to sustainably focus on my fitness.”

“Sylvia’s program is the best of both worlds for me - I get the in person benefits of diversity of exercises and stretches that I would get in an in person class along with different comments and banter to keep things fun and engaging in a virtual setting AND I get the convenience of not having to leave home and save time on driving, getting there a few minutes early to get a spot, etc. It also allows me to hang out at my mat at home to do extra stretching if I have time. Super bonus - sometimes I even do class in my pjs!”
— Edie
“It is no exaggeration to say that Happy Core classes have made a huge positive impact on my life. I am not a "Pilates type" being 78 years old and very skeptical of the "Woo Woo". However, I love Sylvia's classes. My core strength has definitely improved, the toning exercises really work and I always feel an energy boost after a class. The bottom line for me is that I really enjoy feeling connected to a class but can participate from my own bedroom by following a recording whenever I want. These classes give one all of the well-known benefits of Pilates while being easy to follow, varied, and fun.”
— Jettie
“Sylvia’s fun banter and sharing of experiences and jokes make the class lively and engaging/fun as opposed to a chore to be done. She is always positive and encouraging - a great way to start the day!”
— Alison
“Being a member for decades, following the support and inclusion of Happy Core n More owner Sylvia Hoffmann, helps me thrive. I cannot even imagine my life, so full of change during this time, without having the friendships of our tribe and Sylvia for love and support. I am honored to be included in this exclusive tribe of compassionate, kind, and loving friends.”
— Helen
“I have tried video exercise options before, but even when the videos and instructions are good, it gets old listening to the same thing each session - with Sylvia’s online classes, I get the perks of an in-home video with new and refreshing content and commentary each day.”
— Edie
“Happy Core n More truly lives up to its name. It is good, healthful exercise that is easily accessible, fulfilling, and interesting. All one-hour sessions can be done live or taken and retaken within at least a week. The Pilates exercises are familiar yet varied — making for comfortable, but sometimes challenging, sessions. The icing, however, is the wealth of other information about health, fitness, “things to do,” places to go, and other fun, helpful tidbits that are sprinkled throughout every workout. All in all, a REAL DEAL when it comes to keeping up with one's health!!"
— Beth
“I am small boned and have bone density tests done faithfully every two years. This year, I was again told I am in good health and have no signs of osteoporosis. When I met with my doctor, she said that because I exercise, including doing pilates, I have good bone strength. I am grateful to Sylvia for providing me with the opportunity to exercise and keep healthy.”
— Alice
“I have been taking Sylvia’s Pilates class for several years now. Sylvia’s physiology/fitness experience, training and certifications are impressive. But what is truly unique about her is how enthusiastic and joyful she is and how she encourages us in every area of our health and wellbeing. She is inspirational! I always feel better after a session with Sylvia.”
— Sussane
“Sylvia takes requests and tailors her in person zoom classes to all levels and conditions - especially if you let her know in advance. Throughout class she mentions modifications to make an exercise more challenging or less stressful on your body if you have something you are healing - this makes the class accessible to everyone.”
— Melissa
“The in-person nature of Sylvia’s virtual classes are helpful to me because I feel more accountable attending in person. The option to do class on the recording for up to a week is also helpful for those times when I have an appointment or am otherwise unable to be there in person. Extra bonus is being able to repeat a recorded class over the weekend - definitely bang for the buck!”
